Ninebot Additional Battery: Launch Postponed

During the final tests of the additional battery support we found remaining bugs. We are fixing them right now.

Until those fixes are finished we will not release the feature. An unlock that causes trouble on some vehicles helps nobody.

As soon as the corrections are done and verified, we will release the support. For customers with an existing licence code the update stays free of charge – you simply reset the tuning and install it again.

Further Projects

Navee In Development

Support for Additional Navee Models

Alongside the ongoing development of our existing solutions, we are working on support for additional Navee e-scooters. A current focus is on the UT5 model series.

In doing so, we are examining the various vehicle variants, firmware versions and technical requirements for a digital unlock via software.

As soon as a reliable solution is available, we will publish the exact compatible models and the configurations that can be achieved.

Yamaha Under Review

Digital Tuning Solution for Yamaha

For e-bikes with a Yamaha drive too, we would like to be able to offer a fully digital solution in the future.

Our goal is the simplest possible unlock without installing an additional tuning chip or hardware module. We are currently examining the technical options and the various Yamaha system generations.

The project is still in an early phase. For this reason, we cannot currently name any specific compatible models or a release date.

We are considering a premium level with a significantly higher release. Before we invest the development time, we want to know whether there is real interest. Intended exclusively for private property and closed tracks.

Questions About Updates

When will the additional battery be supported?

Development is finished, but the final tests revealed remaining bugs. We will only release the feature once they are fixed, so we cannot name a binding date at the moment.

Is the update free for existing users?

Yes. Once the support is released, existing licence code owners get the update free of charge – simply reset the tuning and install it again. No new purchase, no need to contact us.

Which Navee models will be supported next?

We are working on further Navee models, including the UT5 model series. We will announce the exact variants and firmware versions as soon as compatibility has been confirmed.

Is there already a Yamaha licence code?

No. A digital Yamaha solution is currently still undergoing technical review. At the moment there is neither a confirmed model list nor a release date.

Why are there no fixed release dates for the remaining projects?

Development times depend on vehicle variants, firmware versions and the results of the technical tests. We only release a solution once it has been sufficiently tested.
